Hey all well I can finally say I'm back...as is the NBA...today they ended their lock out and the NBA will start sometime in February. This could be a good news for the NETS, with a short season they could do very well and possibly go deep into the playoffs. Their first priority is to sign Jayson Williams. Please GM Nash make Jayson a very good offer so he doesn't leave. I take it Jayson still wants about 10 million a year, so give it to him. Next they should try to sign Kerry Kittles to a long term deal. Keep the young nucleus.

Well in a little bit I'll some thoughts about the season and all, I'm glad the NBA is back and the NETS have a legit chance to win the east this year. So check back ina few days for some team thoughts and what I think the Nets will do this year.

I'll admit when the Nets first made this trade I thought they were giving up too much to get one player and several average players at best. They gave up Jimmy Jackson, Eric Montross along with Tim Thomas(7th pick) and Anthony Parker(21st pick). I just thought that was too much for Keith Van Horn, but Keith has proved me and a lot of other people wrong. He is a strong offensive player and if he can get better on defense he'll be an all-star for many years! GREAT MOVE COACH CAL!!!
